6 Steps to Great Content

1: Listen

The key to getting a happy client at the end of the project is establishing a clear brief from the outset. Talking to us at the start and not holding back makes a huge difference. The more you share with us, the easier it is to make the right video for you. We can do this face to face, on Skype or just via a simple phone call.

2: Understand

You wouldn’t be human if you didn’t want a level of reassurance, so to show we’ve been listening, we’ll respond with a creative brief. We’ll play back everything we’ve discussed to that point and distill the project  down into a single, measurable thought. It’s a great chance to check we’re on the same page.

3: Think

Now we get our brains working. Time is set aside to research and develop some initial creative thoughts to share. We will always generate more than one concept at this stage so you will have plenty to mull over.

4: Present

Just as projects and concepts vary, so does the best way to present a particular idea. Some routes are best shared using mood boards and sketches. Whilst others require animation tests, style frames or even full storyboards. Once you are happy with a route, we develop it into final boards for sign off.

5: Make

Once the idea and script have been tweaked and polished, we get down to the hard graft – and craft – of making the video. This can involve any combination of skills; illustration, animation, live action, editing and so on. Along the way, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to comment and input on the final piece.

6: Deliver

Once the visuals are approved we’ll record the final voiceover, mix the final audio and sprinkle some magic dust. You tell us what format you require or where it is being hosted and we will deliver. Or, of course, we can play-out to your production partner.
