The client approached Content Creatures, an animation and video production company, to create a 3D animated film to highlight the integrated and complex nature of their pipeline model, underscoring the unique advantages and the distinctive ‘KBR Way’ approach embedded within this proprietary solution.

The Creative Challenge

Factors to consider in the brief:

  • Create a 60” animated video to promote KBR Integrated Solutions as a premium interconnected digital twin solution.
  • Produce a visually impressive film to wow potential investors.
  • Be ready with 4 weeks for an investor day on May 8th, 2024.

The challenge was to explain the difficult and technical parts of the digital twin technology in a simple and interesting way, showing the advantages and the edge that KBR offers to its clients. The video also needed to match the brand’s tone, vision, and values, and show the recent brand evolution at KBR.

Inside the Concept

Throughout the discovery phase, we worked closely with the client to understand their objectives, audience, and messaging, and developed a concept that would showcase the unique value proposition of KBR’s digital twin technology.

The concept of “inside knowledge” conveys the depth of the data that KBR collects, enriches, validates, and integrates into the digital twin.

Our copywriters wrote an inspiring script to present the key benefits of KBR’s digital twin technology. They used simple yet powerful language to appeal directly to decision-makers and influencers within KBR’s clients’ industries. They also crafted the script to reference KBR’s core values: integrity, delivery, empowerment, valuing people, and team of teams.

Enriching the visuals

Our design team developed a visual language of spheres, layers, and particles to represent the interconnected facets of the digital twin process, as well as a dynamic and futuristic style to convey the innovation and expertise of KBR.

The 60-second 3D animated video follows the journey of the data from the macro client project to inside the digital twin, using smooth transitions and fluid movements to create a sense of continuity and coherence.

We used a colour palette to match the brand’s identity and feel contemporary and striking, to create memorable impression.

We also added music to enhance the mood and energy of the video, as well as a professional voice-over that narrates the script.

The Results

Content Creatures successfully delivered the video ahead of the investor day. Our client was very satisfied with the quality and impact of the film and praised our animation and video production company for our creative and collaborative approach.

The video was well received by the investors and the senior KBR executives and c-suite level clients, who were impressed by the clarity and sophistication of the digital twin technology.
