This motion graphics explainer was commissioned to highlight the strategic approach of an integrated media agency to the Executive Board of a well known car brand.

PHD had recently won the global media account for VW cars with an approach to offer up a new vision of a media agency.

We were given free rein to develop a motion graphics explainer video that would resonate at the monthly board meeting. Our mission was to engage and excite the high level board members about the future of working with PHD.

Reviewing existing VW creative, it was obvious that whilst the car was always the star, the execution was often quite sleek, simple and well designed.

We developed a route that alluded to a car journey, with headlights, pistons and motion trails, whilst never showing one being driven. We worked within the brands existing identity and our in-house copywriter wrote the script, wrapping the key content around car metaphors we could bring to life through animation.
